church premises in Tshwane, Pretoria sealed because of stampede(ANA)

Reports from the church's headquarters in Tshwane, Pretoria-South Africa say residents are demanding the closure of all church activities in south Africa and asking Prophet Shepherd Bushiri also known aka Major 1 to park out out of the place. This comes after a stampede occurred in the church headquarters last December 28, 2019 where 3 women are reported dead. As the story goes, the followers were in the premises when rainstorm suddenly started. 

Africa News Agency (ANA) reports yesterday January 15, 2019,

"  Three women were killed in an apparent stampede at the ECG church during a service on December 28. Nine other congregants were injured as they ran for shelter during a heavy rainstorm. The three deceased women were identified as Patricia Pringane, Matshila Sarah Mohlala and Lehlogahlo Maria Segodi."   

Their corpses as we gather were taken to mortuaries by church authorities without informing the police. It on this count that many denizens say the church should not be allowed to operate in their locality and that the prophet too treats human beings without dignity. They accuse him of collecting money from those who come for prayers and deliverance and never provides lodging facilities and so allows them sleep in the open air. As of now, the charges levied against the church in court are thought to be sufficient prove to cause its closure. 

ANA says, "Sanco led protests outside the ECG premises in Pretoria on Tuesday 15, calling for the popular church to be expelled from the Pretoria venue"

 The church on her part responded by granting a press briefing though Major 1 was not present and presented condolence messages to bereaved families and promised that the prophet will visit the families immediately he returns to the country. Also, the church headquarters was is closed and that investigations are opened to bring the concern to book. 
Meantime, people react differently to the incident. One of them is Rev. Diangha Chongsi, a Yaoundé based pastor and staunch critic of the new breed of ministers. He writes, "Major prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Mega TV . A Malawian and south Africa base preacher. A prophetic sniper in the suppose military rank. A man who has become a controversial preacher base on his allaged conspicuous miracles and prophecies. He went to the level of now calling Jesus on phone to talk with. He said to have walked on air and physical angels appears on his church. Now the community seems to be tired of what they called fruad, fake prophecies and miracles by Bushiri. The local community had gathered few days around his church to burn it down. The tension is still high and matters keep arising while we keep our eyes open. 
What is wrong with some Pentecostal churches in Africa is yet another story for another day. Either a church building collapse or some stuffs emerges to make negative headlines about the church.. Africa it's time we seek God and stop waisting time. Either way the truth is a pregnancy that doesn't hide . !Time!"

 And brother Joshua Iginla of Joshua Iginla Ministries took up time to pray in a live broadcast for the ECG church and the church over the world to stand the storms. He prays that the gate of hell and work of the devil over ECG will not prosper...
