Civil Society celebrates Global Fund at 20

civil society celebrating Global Fund in Yaounde-cameroon C ivil society Organizations and communities affected by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria across Cameroon last Fri day, September 24, 2021 at Merina Hotel in Yaounde-Cameroon celebrated Global Fund’s 20 th anniversary.  The occasion had as objective to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Global Fund for coming to Cameroon and for the lives of millions (about 44 million lives worldwide) saved through its donations. Their contributions over 2decades in the management of the 3 public health dreaded diseases in Cameroon (tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and malaria) have been tremendous and have saved lives of many who today live happily and would have died by now if the funds were not provided like was the case more than 20 years ago. Statistics show that Global Fund has for the years ahead, 2021-2023, planned financing the fight against HIV/AIDS with the sum of 76,224,500,200 FCFA, 10,929,886,927 FCFA for tuberculosis and for 20
