Alumni and authorities pose for family pictu The second edition of the Cameroon Alumni National Symposium held on the Campus of the National School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM-Yaounde. The symposium was organized by the US Exchange Alumni Network Cameroon. This umbrella association was created in April 2022 for all existing USG exchange programs alumni, with objective to synergize alumni efforts.    The symposium brought together fellows who had participated in any of the U.S Exchange Programs and Cameroonian youth working with CSOs and Youth Leaders. Local administrators called to promote healthcare in Cameroon

Mayors in session at jeicom2021   The local administrators who were made up of mayors drawn from different councils across the 360 council areas in Cameroon were enjoined by the representative of the World Health Organization, WHO-Cameroon office, Dr. Phanuel Habimana to continue to promote healthcare in Cameroon because their engagement and support will take Cameroon far. The seminar took place at the Multipurpose Sporting Complex, Saturday the 4 th of December 2021 on the sidelines of the Councils International Economic Forum with the French acronym JEICOM21, organized in Yaounde by the United Councils and Cities of Cameroon, UCCC. civil society celebrating Global Fund in Yaounde-cameroon C ivil society Organizations and communities affected by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria across Cameroon last Fri day, September 24, 2021 at Merina Hotel in Yaounde-Cameroon celebrated Global Fund’s 20 th anniversary.  The occasion had as objective to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Global Fund for coming to Cameroon and for the lives of millions (about 44 million lives worldwide) saved through its donations. Their contributions over 2decades in the management of the 3 public health dreaded diseases in Cameroon (tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and malaria) have been tremendous and have saved lives of many who today live happily and would have died by now if the funds were not provided like was the case more than 20 years ago. National Malaria Task Force launched

Task Force pose for family picture     The launch of the National Task Force of the National malaria Control Program (NMCP)- Civil Society for malaria Elimination saw the light of day early this week in Yaounde. The event in Yaounde last Monday 12, July 2021 at Melina Hotel was chaired by Dr. Joel ATEBA, deputy Permanent secretary of the NMCP and was jointly organized by the NMCP, Impact Santé Afrique (ISA); an African NGO with base in Cameroon that has as mission to fight malaria and improve health in communities across Africa, and Civil Society for Malaria Elimination(CS4ME); a global platform working together with well over 15 civil society organizations in Cameroon to end the spread of malaria. The National Task Force according to Dr. ATEBA, “It is a platform where we can meet together- all the actors of malaria struggle to fight against malaria. TB Joshua laid to rest in Nigeria

  The Nigerian televangelist, philanthropist, and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations(SCOAN) and Emmanuel TV in Lagos-Nigeria, Temitope Balogun Joshua was laid to his final resting place in the church premises in Nigeria last July the 9th, 2021.  The renowned clergy was born on the 12th of June 1963 in Ondo, Nigeria and died on June 5th, 2021 at the age of 58. He leaves behind a beautiful wife to mourn him, Evelyn Joshua and his 3 daughters; Serah, Promise and Heart and the followers across the world.  His critics have always raised eyebrows on his miracles, well of anointed water, stickers, bracelets, necklaces and  prophecies.  His net worth was estimated at US$10 million by Forbes magazine in 2011. T he statistics according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) came under discussion last Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Yaounde-Cameroon during the Official Launch of the Parliamentarians’ Task Force for malaria resource mobilization in Cameroon organized by  Impact Santé Afrique (ISA) in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Program, NMCP. The ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Manaouda Malachie and attended amongst others by the representative of WHO to Cameroon, Dr. Phanuel Habimana; President of Parliamentarians’ Network in charge of issues relating to the population, Development and Public Health, Hon. Pauline Ndoumou; Law makers from the Lower and Upper Houses of Parliament.  The launch was coming against a backdrop of a continuous rise in malaria mobility and mortality rates in Cameroon.
